October 2020, which is typically my busy wedding season, was different then all of the previous wedding seasons in so many ways! Obviously, with the pandemic, there have been soooo many changes in people’s lives; including planning your dream wedding!! My typical October month would be filled with trips around the country to capture some of the most extravagant, huge weddings! However, this time all of my brides had to change their plans and decided to go the elopement route in order to celebrate the love between them and their fiance’s!!
This meant that during October, I spent one full week shooting back to back to back (you get the picture 😉 elopements at Horseshoe Bend near Lake Powell, Arizona!!! It was one of the most EPIC weeks of my life and I had a blast capturing all of the most beautiful love stories!!
Jen + Ryan were no exception to this!! We started off the day in Page, Arizona with the couple getting ready! Jen was THE CUTEST EVER and could not contain her excitement for the big day!! And Ryan was just as pumped!!
The couple had their first look overlooking Lake Powell and the amazing red, rocky cliffs! It was stunning!! And after the most sentimental vows and some literal “knot tying” the couple shared their first dance on top of the most beautiful desert mountain! It was one of the most intimate and perfect moments!!
We then explored the area for some of the most amazing sunset bridal portraits! Arizona sunsets never cease to amaze me as we were able to not only catch some golden sun rays, but also the most beautiful moon shining through the blue and purple sunset!!
I’m so grateful for days like this where I’m able to be a small part of the magic between such an amazing couple!!! You guys are THE BEST and CONGRATS newlyweds!!!
Also want to shout out to the most amazing vendors!!
