Alright everybody, hold onto your socks cause this edgy modern wedding with a hint of rock n’ roll in Sedona Arizona is definitely gonna blow them off!! Hands down a favorite wedding of mine, but then again I freaking love every wedding I get to do in Sedona! It has the most amazing red rock, but one thing I love about Sedona is there’s also a lot of greenery (for the desert! lol)! Red rock + greenery makes my heart the happiest! Now, moving on to a couple details that made this day so crazy insanely amazing!
We started off with getting ready (of course) in the cutest little cabin ever near Flagstaff. Mona got ready alongside her best girls and it was a dream! We got some photos of them in their cute velvet robes, Mona did a first look with her girls (HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALWAYS) and then we got some of Matt getting ready as well! Can I just say he’s probably the coolest groom ever?? K yep just had to get that out of the way. The whole day I could not get over their tats and total edgy vibe it was the freakin coolest.
After their getting ready photos, we headed to Sedona to capture Mona + Matt’s first look! Which was, in a word, CUTE. I always recommend a first look just because it helps out with the timeline of the wedding so dang much, but also it’s just the cutest moment ever to have captured on camera! Definitely a favorite of mine on a wedding day, so if you’re deciding on whether or not to do a first look, I say go for it!
Afterwards, we did bridal party photos! Mona’s girls had the most UNREAL dresses which 100% played into the rock n roll vibe they were going for! HECK TO THE YES.
Moving right along to the ceremony- WOW. NO WORDS. The whole setup was designed by the oh so talented Simple Means Events, who is an actual magician. Cannot recommend her enough when it comes to needing a wedding planner/designer! The setup consisted of the most amazing ceremony ring, the most UNREAL florals by Moelleux Events, and the actual cutest custom neon sign ever from Foxtail Rentals! Throw in some leather and faux cow skin rugs to add some Arizona vibes and it looks like the freakin most perfect setup to me! Speaking of details, gotta shout out my talented sister of Aubrey Kash Designs who designed the invite suite as well as menus and place cards, her talent cannot go unnoticed and I will never stop sending all by brides to her!!
Their ceremony was short, simple, and sweet, but filled with so much love and happiness! Mona and Matt really do have the most amazing loving relationship ever- they’re such goofballs and it really showed throughout the entire day!
Following the ceremony, we ventured around Sedona and took some bride and groom sunset portraits, which I always recommend doing at every wedding! Their goofy sides came out, and also their playful lovey side too!
Loved every single minute of this edgy modern wedding with a twist of rock n roll! Just dreaming of the day where I get to do another rock n roll wedding (any takers?!) This day was perfect. And not only because Sedona is the most gorgeous place in the world, or because the setup was freaking UNREAL, but because the most amazing emotions and love were captured. Freakin love these two to death!!
